When global eCommerce platform Magento engaged us for MagentoLive Australia 2019 – Asia-Pacific’s answer to MagentoImagine – we decided it was time to flip the lid. This two-day conference held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, attracted 750 movers and shakers, including Fortune 500 executives.
From the get-go, we challenged convention with unexpected live performances from a flash mob style brass band, provocative presentations and out-of-the-box networking opportunities. An immersive exhibition showcased 24 partners, including Paypal, Google, eWave, World Pay and the first ever Magento-Adobe-Marketo combined booth.
But we can’t pretend it was all fun and games. We also managed budget constraints, multiple time zones and last-minute changes – without a hitch!
MagentoLive Australia 2019 exceeded registration targets by 15%, inspired positive feedback from all stakeholders and sent sales teams home with great expectations. Not bad for two days’ work.
